Whyville.com is not your average Virtual World. Most people think of Virtual Worlds as a waste of time, money, or effort. This is a different case with Whyville! Whyville is not only an online Virtual World that requires NO download, but it is also an educational site. It is also very safe and has been open to the public since 1999!
Whyville teaches finance, resposibility, science, and many more things! I first joined whyville in 2003 when not much was present on the site, but it was still enjoyable! After time grew, we started getting new things like scions. Whyville got a major sponsor (Toyota) to sponsor these virtual cars. In these cars you could drive with friends, learn the importancy of a seatbelt, and now you can even listen to music created by you or other Whyville citizens! Whyville also likes to keep it’s users safe since the age range on whyville is 7-16. Whyville has a 911 report tool where you can report people that say or do inappropriate things. You also have to pass a chat test, so they can make sure you understand the chat rules! Also, instead of moderators we have City Workers. They not only moderate, but they are the ones that produce ideas in Whyville. Whyville citizens and the City Workers are very helpful to the new people (we call them newbies). There is a special station called the Newbie Center where Newbies can go to get assistance from the Y-mail Helpers. The newest addition that is helpful to Newbies is the Welcome Lounge. The Welcome Lounge is where newbies go when they first visit whyville and where they can get tours! Although this is all free, there are 2 currencies. One, you have to buy, and the other you have the choice to buy or earn it. The first currency that has been around for 10 years and will stay around is clams. No, their not the slimy things at the bottom of the ocean! Actually, they’re what you can use to buy face parts, admission, and other cool stuff. Now, we have something called pearls which is really new to the community. You can use pearls to buy whypets, face parts, and everything else you can use clams for!
Whyville also let’s you be your own person. You have over thousands of choices from shirts, to hats, to even buck teeth! Ok, buck teeth may sound a little silly, but it’s really hip on Whyville. So, you may wonder, wow, I can wear these designs, but I bet I can’t make my own. Actually, you’re wrong! You can make your own face parts with something called an FFV which stands for Face Factory Voucher. You can find these around Whyville or buy one at the Trading Post!
Ok, it may seem like I named alot of stuff, but honestly I only named 30% of what whyville has! To find out all the other cool stuff whyville offers for FREE, join today.

To project a professional as well as a well-established image to your potential clients or customers for your small business company, a virtual office phone with a professional answering system may help you to do so. This type of phone system allows an owner of a small business to create a business presence virtually at any location that he desired without having to make a lot of investments.
This system is usually embedded with a number of call management features that will serve to handle your calls from clients in a professional way. The features include auto attendant, conference call, voicemail, call forwarding, fax and lots more. All incoming calls will be received and attended professionally by an auto attendant with recorded greeting messages. It will offer the callers several options to choose such as dial by extension, talk to the live operator and etc. Based on the callers’ preference, their calls will then be routed to appropriate departments to handle their needs or problems. Besides that, multiple calls can be managed systematically without sending out busy signals to the clients.
Incoming calls to your main virtual office number can be rerouted to any other alternate numbers provided such as cell phone numbers. When a call is not answered after duration of time or a specific number of rings, the phone system will redirect the call to a voicemail box to enable the caller to leave his message. This voice message will then be attached as an audio file and sent to your email address to be viewed later on. Upon sending an email to your email account, the system will then sent you a text message on your cell phone to notify you. A virtual office phone system is a reliable helper in various ways especially in building your small company’s image.
